Sagwell has focused on the R&D and mass production of multi-element pre-alloyed powder for 25 years, launching tailor-made alloy powder formulas exclusively for wire saw bead manufacturing. Unlike traditional mechanically mixed metal powders that suffer from severe component segregation and uneven hardness after sintering, our products adopt atomic-level solid solution pre-alloying technology. Each powder particle features evenly distributed metal elements, completely eliminating internal structural defects of the sintered matrix.
After sintered at 780℃ to 820℃, the matrix achieves a density above 98.5% and excellent bending resistance. The pre-alloyed powder forms tight metallurgical bonding with diamond grits, effectively preventing abrasive grains from falling off during high-frequency vibration and impact in quarry cutting operations. This formula can replace over 40% expensive pure cobalt powder, greatly lowering raw material input costs while retaining 85%-95% of the cutting efficiency of full-cobalt based beads.
Three core grades cover diverse working scenarios: pre-alloyed powder SHN-01 fits medium-hard granite, SFN-08A targets ultra-hard stone with outstanding wear resistance, and SFN-11 serves as a versatile raw material for combined wire saw beads. Beyond standardized powder supplies, Sagwell provides customized formula adjustment, free sample testing and full sintering process guidance for global diamond tool manufacturers, helping enterprises stabilize product quality and improve overall economic benefits in stone quarrying.
